Kids Camp for Saint Helens High School Athletics

We are excited to announce our Inaugural St. Helens Kids Fitness and Conditioning Camp. We are dedicated to improving the health of our kids by teaching them about exercise, and raising money for the Saint Helens Athletic Program. We want to teach them that fitness can be fun!

There are two types of classes that will be offered:

Fitness Class – This class is designed for any kid of any fitness level. We will be teaching basic calisthenics, including some gymnastics, flexibility and conditioning.

Conditioning Class – This class is designed for kids ages 7-18 that are currently playing sports and would like to work on agility, plyometrics and other sports specific training.

 

Schedule and Cost:

July 7th through the 11th

Ages 7-12: 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. (Fitness or Conditioning)

Ages 13-18: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. (Fitness or Conditioning)

Cost: $50 per kid (All proceeds go to Saint Helens Athletic Program).

Event will be held at Saint Helens High School Athletic Field

 

The Kids Camp will be run by an experienced, highly qualified team led by Chris McDonald.

 

Chris McDonald graduated from the Cowapa league and went to be an All-American soccer player at Linfield University where he earned his undergraduate in Biology. He later went on to earn his Masters degree in Exercise Science. He has been working in the fitness industry for over 10 years and currently travels all over the world teaching Fitness seminars.
